Start Your Warranty Claim
Please review the claim requirements below before submitting. Provide the information available to you and retain copies of all supporting records.
- Customer name, order number, and contact information
- Vehicle VIN, year, make, and model
- Unit serial number and installation date
- Installation mileage and current mileage
- Symptoms, diagnostic findings, and photographs
- Installation, maintenance, and parts receipts
Submitting a claim requests a review. Please await instructions before arranging a return or authorizing repair work for reimbursement.
Please Read Before Proceeding
Your original written warranty and applicable law govern your claim. The following requirements explain the review process; submitting the form is not approval of coverage, repair work, replacement, or payment.
1. Claim review, returned units & payments
No claim-related payments or reimbursements for defective or extra units will be processed or approved until the returned merchandise has been received and inspected at a Fraser Engines warehouse, where return is required under the applicable warranty.
Receipt of a unit does not itself establish a covered defect or guarantee reimbursement. Eligibility, supporting documents, inspection findings, and the applicable written warranty determine the outcome, subject to applicable law.
Obtain return authorization and shipping instructions before sending a unit. Preserve the product and relevant components for inspection; do not discard or ship them without instructions.
2. Coverage, add-ons & warranty transfers
- Coverage is product-specific. The written warranty issued with your original purchase identifies the term, covered components, exclusions, and any labor benefits. This page does not expand or retroactively reduce that coverage.
- No additional coverage after shipment. Warranty add-ons must be selected before the product ships.
- Transfer fee: $499.00. Eligible transfers require review under the applicable written warranty. Paying a fee alone does not complete a transfer.
- Three-year transfer limit. Transfers are not permitted after three years from the original purchase date. Contact the Warranty division to confirm eligibility and required documentation.
3. Delivery inspection & crate instructions
Inspect the unit and packaging upon delivery. Document visible damage, missing items, and concerns with photographs and report them promptly. Retain the packaging and available carrier records.
Follow all installation instructions, notices, and recommendations included inside or attached to the crate. A failure to inspect or report damage may affect the ability to establish a shipping-damage claim; it does not automatically eliminate unrelated warranty coverage.
4. Installation & external components
The installer must verify fitment and follow the applicable installation requirements. Inspect external components and replace or transfer them as required for correct operation. Keep invoices and records showing completion of required parts changes and procedures.
Damage caused by improper installation, installer error, or failure to complete a required procedure may be excluded under the applicable warranty. Fraser may request records and diagnostic information to determine whether the installation contributed to the claimed failure.
5. Maintenance records & oil changes
Follow the maintenance schedule and fluid specifications applicable to the unit. Retain dated service invoices, parts and fluid receipts, and records identifying the vehicle, mileage, service performed, and materials used.
If you perform your own oil changes, keep traceable purchase receipts together with a dated mileage log and supporting records, such as odometer photographs. Handwritten notes alone may not establish what materials were used or when the work occurred.
Independent service or properly performed do-it-yourself maintenance does not, by itself, void coverage. Missing records may require additional evidence during review. Claims involving damage caused by inadequate or improper maintenance remain subject to the applicable warranty exclusions and law.
6. Labor, parts & repair authorization
- Labor reimbursement: Provide the original installation invoice and the itemized repair order or bill for the work claimed. Reimbursement requires applicable labor coverage and approval; submitting a bill does not guarantee payment.
- Parts reimbursement: Provide itemized retailer or supplier invoices identifying the purchased parts and charges. Missing documentation may delay review or prevent verification of a requested amount.
- Prior authorization: Contact the technical or Warranty team before teardown, repairs, or replacement work for which reimbursement is requested. Unauthorized work may be ineligible for reimbursement under the applicable warranty, subject to applicable law.
- Courtesy gasket sets: Many part numbers include a courtesy gasket set. These sets generally do not carry separate Fraser warranty coverage unless installed by Fraser, subject to the written warranty and any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Transmission oil cooler requirement
For transmission installations covered by this requirement, replace the transmission oil cooler and retain the invoice and installation records. Provide proof of compliance when requested during claim review.
Follow the transmission-specific instructions supplied with the unit. Contact the Warranty or technical team before installation if your vehicle’s cooler configuration creates a question about compliance.
8. Overheating & heat indicators
Under standard coverage, damage caused by overheating is excluded as provided in the applicable written warranty. Melted or altered heat indicators may be considered with other inspection evidence when evaluating the cause of failure.
Stop operating the vehicle if overheating or another condition could cause further damage. An overheating-related exclusion applies to the affected claim as permitted by the warranty and law; this page does not declare every unrelated warranty right automatically void.
9. No-Fault coverage & one-time replacement
If your purchase includes active No-Fault coverage, an overheating event may qualify for the plan’s one-time engine replacement benefit, subject to its written terms, eligibility review, and required authorization.
The qualifying replacement engine is provided without an additional engine charge under that benefit. Labor, shipping, accessories, and other expenses are covered only to the extent stated in your No-Fault agreement. No-Fault coverage is not a promise that every expense or circumstance is covered.
After the one-time benefit is used, any remaining coverage continues under the applicable standard warranty terms. Subsequent defect claims require return and plant inspection as specified by that warranty. The replacement does not create a new warranty term unless your written agreement expressly provides otherwise.
10. DIY installations & return-before-replacement
For DIY installations, or where No-Fault coverage does not apply, Fraser requires the claimed defective product to be returned for inspection before a replacement is sent, as provided by the applicable warranty and subject to applicable law.
Request authorization and return instructions from the Warranty division first. Any labor benefit depends on the purchased warranty and its installation requirements; this page does not promise payment for DIY labor.
