About the Ford 3.7L Duratec V6

The Ford 3.7L engine is commonly identified as the Duratec 37 or a member of Ford's Cyclone V6 family. Selected applications use dual overhead camshafts and variable cam timing. Longitudinal truck, van and Mustang installations are not automatically interchangeable with transverse car and crossover applications.

Ford & Lincoln 3.7L Engine Applications

These U.S. vehicle families used a 3.7L V6 in selected years and configurations. Fraser must confirm the exact engine using the complete 17-character VIN. Many listed models were also sold with other engines.

Why the VIN Matters on a Ford 3.7L Replacement

Longitudinal Applications

Mustang, F-150 and Transit installations can use different mounting, oiling, covers, accessories and control requirements. A shared 3.7L designation does not make their engines identical.

Transverse Applications

Edge, police sedan or utility, and Lincoln installations may use different external components and calibrations. Match the original application rather than choosing by appearance alone.

The Ford 3.7L is also not a direct substitute for a 3.5L, 3.3L or EcoBoost engine without application-specific engineering, controls and supporting hardware.

Warranty, Shipping & Core Return

Standard Warranty

3 years / unlimited miles, parts and labor. Labor reimbursement, installation requirements, maintenance records, exclusions and claim procedures follow the written warranty terms.

Commercial Shipping & Core Pickup

Free shipping and core pickup are available for qualifying commercial addresses in the continental United States. Confirm unloading arrangements and any residential or liftgate charges.

Optional No-Fault Protection

Optional No-Fault plans may be available for eligible orders. Ask Fraser to confirm the coverage term, price, eligibility and written limitations during order verification.

30-Day Core Waiver

Ask about the $99.99 core waiver option for eligible orders. The original engine must still be returned within 30 days of delivery; the waiver fee does not purchase the core.

Ford 3.7L Engine FAQs

How much is the remanufactured Ford 3.7L engine?

The listed engine price is $4,899.00 before applicable taxes, fees and selected additions. Fraser confirms the final total and vehicle fitment before charging payment.

What vehicles use a Ford 3.7L V6 engine?

Selected Ford Mustang, F-150, Transit, Edge Sport, Police Interceptor and Lincoln models used a 3.7L V6. Model name and displacement alone do not establish fitment, so the complete VIN is required.

Will an F-150 3.7L engine fit a Mustang or Transit?

Do not assume so. Longitudinal 3.7L applications can differ in mounting, oiling, covers, accessories, electronics and calibration. Fraser must match the replacement to the original vehicle configuration.

Are all components shown in the picture included?

The picture is a reference image. The final quote identifies the covers, oil pan, external parts and accessories included with the verified engine package.

What warranty comes with the engine?

The standard coverage is 3 years with unlimited miles for parts and labor, subject to the written warranty's installation, maintenance, labor reimbursement, exclusion and claim requirements.

When does Fraser charge payment?

Fraser does not charge payment until the order is verbally verified. The team confirms the VIN, engine configuration, delivery details and final order terms first.

Must I return my original engine?

Yes. The original core must be returned under the agreed core-return terms. Ask about qualifying core pickup and the optional 30-day core waiver during order verification.
